Got a Ford Email! But it just "preapproves me" for financing to buy a vehicle that I can't even get

Sorry to spam about my spam. I was excited when the notification came through, but it was just Ford telling me I can use Ford Financing up to a certain dollar amount. Not super helpful when there is basically a 6-8 month wait on a Super-duty, Raptor, or Lightning. Even the 2021 F150s are 10k+ over MSRP in my area.

Same. Didn't a wave of these go out before the first order wave? Hopefully that means we're in the next wave. (Wishful thinking here)

hey, go grab a GT500! But actually, a dealer near me has one for 105,990 but is asking $135,990, so no luck

only got 80,000. Guess I’ll actually have to put some money down for my Lightning Lariat+ ?

Curious if someone that's #55 got one as well? That would likely bash the hopes of this being a hint of a wave 2 invite.

I am can I am #29 and did not get one. Doesn't prove anything though

Also got the email— I figured it’s because I was playing with the v loan optt to ions yesterday. Also told by my dealer I’m #2. Also, my dealer expected their wave 1 allocation to be 3 vehicles… maybe this is wave 1b. But I doubt it— my bet is each of us were playing with the loan options and that triggered it. Guess we’ll see, right?

I just got one too. However when i called my dealer after the 1st wave started they couldn't tell me how many reservations they had much less where I was in line.

Mine said $105,000 but since I have been waiting on my Bronco since July 2020 I figured that was Fords way of saying " If you want a Bronco now , go pay ADM !"
