2.8.3 OTA and Cameras working while in motion....but...

Finally received 2.8.3. Giddy about using cameras while in motion. But why is the warning "Please check surroundings for safety" in the middle of where you want to view objects while in motion! And why are the guide lines in this view too? I know in the other camera views the warning is at the bottom of the screen.

Yup....hard to take a picture driving at highway speeds.

just got a update yesterday blocking that ..you can still use it if on drive but vehicle has to be completely stop,as soon as you go it blacks out..it was working yesterday before the update

Which update did you get? Versions 2.8.2 and older were missing cameras in motion (without flashing)....then 2.8.3 finally gave this option to me. I might need to stop OTA updates.

For us that have had the camera in motion the whole time, this is what you have in that view.

Clearly, someone who doesn't drive approved this update. They came so close to knocking this one out of the park. I've been waiting patiently for an update to this update.

i think its more big brother than ford
you know big brother can stop you from seeing behind you...but cant stop folks from texting in the drivers seat at 75 mph.
