Anyone done the column to console floor shifter ?

Has anyone done the column to console floor shifter getting mine in tomorrow and was wondering what the install consist of?

Love my column shifter! Don't care for the console shifter.

I prefer the other way and go from console shifter to column or dial. Waste of space and the fold down feature is a bit gimmicky, but necessary for the work surface. Would like to be able to leave the work surface down when driving so wife can use as a travel table. Didn't want chrome, so had no choice.

Now here's an interesting question... Is there a truck configuration that allows the fold-out work surface WITH a column shifter? If I'm not mistaken, the column shift can only be had with a bench-seat truck, which means you can get the bench version of the work surface but not the fold-out. A fold-out surface while driving would be sweet...

I thought the 2021 XLT non-sport chrome models with the console between the front seats had the column shifter. Once the sport option (dechrome) was added, it changed the shifter to console.

No, my 2023 XL with STX Appearance Package came with a full center console and a column shifter. Option code “J” 40/CON/40 for $300. A console shifter would take up my phone storage/chip bag spot

Ahh okay... I don't know why I was thinking all trucks below Lariat had front bench seats. Anyway, super jealous of your chip bag holder ! Finding the right spot with a console shifter setup is a bit awkward.. Haha.

So I checked this on the build site, you do need the STX appearance package on the XL in order to get the center console. The STX package adds the cushioned vinyl stitched door panel arm rests and the center console is that same stitched material. So really it takes $2,500 to get the center console in the XL at the end of the day.
