Any retail orders receive a VIN yet?

I’ve been following this forum for quite some time. Finally registered today. I had ordered a 2021 two or three months ago but changed my order two or three times. Ordered a platinum back when you can first turn in an order. Changed that order once. Changed my order again around October 1. I ordered a limited with the power boost option. I stopped in the dealer today and asked to check on it. My salesman pulled it up; it is supposed to be made the week of December 7 and I do have a Vin number. Will be made in Deerborn Michigan.

Sounds like you got a good dealer with good allocations.

I know when I have a lot of time on my hands with a truck order, I start 2nd guessing my options and what not. Good that you were able make changes without losing much time at all.

Ike not many retail orders are going through yet. My sales guy told me it could be February before I got my truck when I ordered and I thought he was full of S. Might be lucky to get it by then the way it is sounding.

Yeah, that what I was going to try but based on the tracking list he is not that far along yet.

I ordered my truck from a very small dealer. They do sell a lot of trucks as it is a farming community. There are very few dealers that sell trucks like they sell them. You have to be a business owner or a farmer and you have to received a patronage check and do schedule F on your taxes. Dealers in St. Louis Missouri tell me that no way can I buy a new truck for that price. I have bought Ford truck from this dealer under that program.

Sounds like you have a good one, savings is key!

Once you get a VIN from them you will be able to find some info on your own, including the window sticker when you get closer to assembly time.

No vin dealer said he was going to order stock and also retail to se which one would come first

The problem is Dearbon has not achieved OKTB status yet. At their rate KC will achieve it when they do.

Hard to get retail orders scheduled with the OKTB still pending, they can show your ordered and that it's pending, or something like that, forget the exact wording. That will be it till they get the OKTB, that is why so many of you are hearing nothing.

Stock orders are a different thing.
