22/23 Built and in Shipping Purgatory ETA (Estimated Time of Absurdity)

Those would be for 22s, right? And if so, would they still be waiting on 22s, or have they been converted to 23s? Just wondering.

If we hit the summer, and I don't have my truck, then I think I would be moving on.

Mine ordered in 2/22 started build 8/22 is a 22 and I am weeks away from seeing it.

It makes it more frustrating that the timing between order to possession isn't consistent. You ordered your truck on Oct 4. I ordered mine on Aug 18.

Not kewl Ford!

My original order was May 11th last year. Ford canceled it on 9/30 before I got a vin.

and like Blackout said, there are still 22's waiting.

It is definitely not a FIFO process that is for sure.

Wow. So you will get a 2022, delivered in Feb or March of 2023? Granted it will be new, but for market value, you've lost a year. Crazy.

Those are 22s. They were not converted. Went through the line in august like mine and sat for 5 months. Still waiting shipping. I just got mine a week ago

Yep and ford and local dealer won’t give me any discount.

I'm sure the dealer and Ford have things covered in some fine print somewhere, and/or their "out" is that they will say you could walk from the deal. But to deliver a truck that late really does impact value. If if delivery of your 22 just happened, its only a couple of days old....but the market is going to price your truck as a year old. Ouch! Not great.

But for me, I guess the silver lining is that I tend to keep vehicles a long time, so that mitigates the issue a bit.

I just checked the tracker and the delivery date has pushed a week.
I had planned on a March delivery, just not March 2023.

Was 2/16, now 2/23.

Well hopefully tomorrow is the day I get to pick up my truck. The dealership has had it for almost a month to replace both passenger doors due to damage during shipping. Oh plus Ford shipped one of the doors that was not stamped correctly so they had to ship another one out.

It's hard to believe it is taking this long. So many questions why I can't even begin to type. Hope you have happy ending to this saga, and soon!

After a short stay at the body shop to have the hood repainted, because something scratched it, my truck is back “on the ramp”. Latest update to was 2/20/23. Just went to the dealer who contacted someone else (the ford rep that found out the truck was “wrecked”) and he has an eta of 2/23/23 and “thinks it is real”. When I called ford customer service they told me between now and 3/10/23.

The truck is 4 hours away in an adjacent state. It should have one more train stop and then a 2 hour truck ride (if logic does not fail me)
A little hope that the latest dates will stick.
