Sounds more like the middle to rear of truck

Was wondering if anybody has ever had a clicking noise that is happening underneath my truck. Could be brakes but I’m not sure had my rear axle bolts replaced after one sheared off and has been doing it since. 22 powerboost.

Yeah, they didn’t have to take my word for it when they rotated my tires the bolt just fell out

Sorry that this is your situation. I had them order mine the day I found out and then physically went down there to schedule my appointment and make sure the part was in. Nobody was answering the phones.

I also live in a huge metro area. Was just glad they had them. Also that axel is specific to the max tow package. Good luck!

Sorry to hear this. The had 27 axels at there distribution center and my dealer got it in 3 days. Can’t understand why it would be on back order for you

Is your truck out of warranty? It should still be covered for 5 years/60000 miles

So the truck had the axel replaced in a day and the whine went away. Obviously was part of the same issue.

Rear axle has been replaced. Only took them half a day. Everything is running great and back to normal.

This just happened to mine. Went and talk to the head mechanic of the dealership and he said yeah you can drive on it. I just wouldn’t tow with it. Every dealer is different. Didn’t eeem do do anything more when I drove on it. He has the time people don’t even know the bolt is broken and drive...

That’s weird I drove mine for a week before I brought it to the dealership. I had an appointment for Friday but brought it in on Thursday because I was leaving out of town. Called me Thursday night and said it was done. It’s a pretty fast turnaround. Very happy with this dealership. Hope yours...

Truck is in the shop. Says it’s about a half of a day job. Did notice that ever since the axel bolt broke that my brakes were whining. Have them looking into that also and seeing if it’s related. Out of town this weekend so hopefully I get it back on Monday.

Did they say you can’t drive it?
