2.7L EcoBoost 2.7 correct oil filter?

So I ordered 3 oil filters and performed my first oil change with Motorcraft FL-2062 filters. The one that came out of the engine had rubber caps on both ends. The one in the picture had the rubber caps. But, the 3 I received did not have the rubber caps. The original and the ones I bought have the same length and diameter of the old. Is this correct that they will not have the rubber caps?

The -A removed the stuff Ford decided the filter doesn't need. I just did my oil change Monday.

I don’t have a 2.7 but those are interesting. Used to have a VW and it’s very similar to an OEM 2.0T FSI filter from a VW GTI. Mann Hummel makes those.
