Windshield Recall: issued for 2021 F-150 Windshield Adhesion Issue

Got my notice a couple days ago. Fortunately my truck is already at the dealership getting other stuff done. I sent a text to my salesman to notify him of the recall and supposedly it is going to be taken care of. Fingers crossed.

Did they replace the windshield completely or re-install the same windshield.? There has been conflicting info on what is going to be done.

My truck goes in on May 7th. From what the dealer told me is that the windshield wont be replaced just reinstalled once they fix whatever's wrong with it. We'll see.

6-month check-up is going to take a bit longer. I have another recall for Heated Mirror and Integrated Trailer Relay Module (21B08). Anyone else have that alert?

Yes I do. They will be fixing that on the 7th as well.

I took delivery early February. I’m waiting and collecting recalls so i can have them corrected at same time.

That’s bizarre. I received my FP and mail notifications late March/early April.

I haven’t taken mine in yet. I think I’ll wait until I get more rock chips.

Except if they break it while trying to remove it. Probably a decent chance of that happening.

Mine was performed yesterday. They did not break the old one, but when I got home I noticed black streaks about 3 inches from the bottom. It is the adhesive they used to reseal the windshield. Dealer cannot get it off and ordered a new windshield today. Should be in some time next week.

I’m in the same boat as some of you: built in Dearborn during that timeframe but no recall on my VIN or FordPass app. How much longer do I wait to get my windshield tinted?
