Would love a plug in powerboost F150 and would have to really weigh that against the Lightning, assuming it had enough electric only range.

Surprised Ford did not come out with PHEV version of F150EV after success of the F150 Hybrid. Even 30 miles on just EV cuts emissions by a lot and helps Ford meet EPA emissions requirements. That would get about a $4k incentive.

On the EV credits, hopefully that gets revised separately. I'd keep it simple, $15k credit which can be applied at purchase to lower MSRP (some states have car price limits). No car price or income limits. I'd offer another $5k if car mfd in US and workers are paid $20 hr with health care and 5% year pension contribution.

Current auto worker hourly wage is $15.96.

Dealer says he has allocation of 25 F150EV's in '22.

It's not clear if he's referring to a stand-alone child tax credit extension or the BBB plan as a whole so I'd take that reporting with a grain of salt.

Hope this isn't flagged as political, but I don't know why children are receiving tax credits since they don't pay taxes. I'll support the credits when they start pulling their own weight and there are assurances that they won't blow the money on Roblox.

I'm certain that there's an overwhelming majority of adult EV early adopters who were child Lego enthusiasts.
