Yep, super easy to do and cheapHas any one attempted or figured out how to change the 2022 license plates lights from regular bulbs to lights to LED like the 2021?
I took this advise and happy with the results!I just bought a couple Sylvania 194 LED bulbs and swapped them out. Around $7 each if I remember correctly.
That's hardcore! Lying in the snow to change tag light bulbs.I took this advise and happy with the results!
If you buy a decent (i believe its a t10 led bulb), you shouldn't have any issues. I've been doing this on my motorcycles without issue. It's a pretty standard bulb that you can get anywhere.Did they change the bulb style from 2020 to 2022?
Anyone notice “flashing” when in reverse with the leds as opposed to no flashing with the incandescent?
I guess I should add, I meant flashing in the camera view.If you buy a decent (i believe its a t10 led bulb), you shouldn't have any issues. I've been doing this on my motorcycles without issue. It's a pretty standard bulb that you can get anywhere.
LEDs all flash in a standard camera. It’s how they work.I guess I should add, I meant flashing in the camera view.
Ok that’s what I thought too. I like the look but it was the one thing that annoyed me before.LEDs all flash in a standard camera. It’s how they work.
Honestly - it could be for that very reason they changed these bulbs back to incandescent - strobing lights when trying to hitch a trailer ain’t fun.
I haven’t noticed this with the sylvania 194s. It’s definitely a bit brighter with a bit more glare in the camera than the incandescent bulbs, but no flashing that I’ve seen and not enough of an issue to make me consider going back.I guess I should add, I meant flashing in the camera view.
Must be a Canadian thing, I didn’t think twice about it! Just threw down a towel to keep my coat from getting dirty hahaThat's hardcore! Lying in the snow to change tag light bulbs.
