Is this normal noise part of electric assist?

So my truck will cruise and rpm will increase by 100 and you’ll hear a humm noise at the same time.

is this normal?

No response I would take as not being normal. Something I’ll have to take into the dealer. Will update after the holidays.

I haven't noticed that with mine, but I don't have too much time behind the wheel yet either. Certainly worth a trip for peace of mind though.
