I’m looking a towing an old truck with a total wait of 8000lb including trailer. I wouldn’t worry too much over a short distance but this will be about 7-8hrs (700km or 430miles). Mostly flat with only minor hills through out. This doable? My truck has max tow package.

Couple suggestions as well. The mat clip holes should be sealed so no water can bypass. The door sill should be extended so to almost the door interior panel.
