Interior damage form Ziebart

Hey guys,
So i dropped my truck off at a local Ziebart to have them touch up the window tint that another Ziebart put on. When i got into the car i found that my passenger seat had what looked like a spill some kind of cleaner/water on it with a puffy outline of white in the porous leather. ill include pitchers below. The truck is a month old and I've been the only one using it, i would have noticed this pryer to dropping it off.
what's the chance of this being a leak from the sunroof (that docent leak in carwashes) and has anyone seen anything like this?

To me it looks like the guy set his spray bottle down and it tipped over and leaked.
It should dry up, turn on the seat heater?
It’s just soap and water if that what it is.

That's thoughts too. they say they use soap and water that never enters the car but it could be anything.
It's been 3 days and im in a pretty dry environment and it's as dry as can be.

to me it looks as if some kind a paste or fairly thick substance has been spilled and filled the perforated holes with residue. Maybe could be cleaned with a soft brush with saddle soap Or maybe it can be vacuumed out of perforations when its dried

i talked to them and told them what i found, they didn't admit to anything but did take a soft brush with some all purpose, cleaning agent they use for leather. it got a lot of the white stuff out but the leather is sill warped. im really not happy and thinking about making a report with the police.

That’s completely a civil matter. The police won’t want anything to do with it. Some people have had good luck with contacting the BBB here and I would also complain to the dealership that you purchased the product from.

Perforated leather is especially fragile and I need a panel replaced in my Navigator where my Leatherman holster wore between a few perforations and before I had time to repair it a family member drove around in it and tore the entire seat panel.

An upholsterer might have a product that can shrink the leather back where it’s stretched as long as there’s no discoloration.

I always take over a dozen pictures and video of the exterior and underbody of my vehicles before I bring them in for services but never thought of the interior. Now, I’m adding that to the list.

i would definitely reach out to upper hand management and threaten to take legal action against them in hopes they'll fold.

if you have a small steamer it may take the wrinkles out and and flatten back out. Whatever it was had to be pretty heavy to alter the fit of the seat cover
