That's not what I see in my head when someone says pole barn. Looks great for the space you had available.
Thanks, it's been my dream to build my own shop for a while. Pioneer Pole Buildings did the shell I finished inside and all concrete myself.

Garage is 24x32 with 12 foot ceilings. It's too small. I need a shop.

do you like the single door, or do you think 2 doors would have been better?
I love the single I have a hard angle to get in my garage so the double door would have made getting into the one bay a nightmare. The doors is 16' wide and 8' tall.

My original garage is 24x30. I put a 24 x12 deep addition on it with a garage door in the side. Perfect for mowers, bikes, snowmobile. For reference my truck is a Screw, 157 wb. Depth is great, wish I could have gone to 28 ft wide, but I was running up against septic field.

I would go as big as you can fit and want to spend on it. Our garage is in the shape of a block "L". The botton part is where we park the two vehicles, my supercrew and my wife's escape. This is roughly 21' L x 19' W plus some change. It's tight but do able. There's no room next to the vehicles unless you're strategic on hanging stuff on the walls. The top part of the "L" is 18' L x 10' W.

We plan on upgrading my wife to something a little bigger this year, but probably the next size up SUV (Edge, Pilot, etc). I don't think we would do a Tahoe sized SUV for her. It may fit but it would be real tight width wise.

Not exactly the type of garage you're looking into but figured it's another data point to consider.

26x28, more than enough room to fully open doors, along with tool chests, work benches, and shelves. I-beam support has been used with a chain fall to replace engines. Fully plumbed for compressed air on first and second floor. Attached car port is for storing lawn mower, etc.

Like others have said, go as big as your budget and property will allow.

I am lucky to have 2 garages that size. One attached to the house, and used as intended, park our vehicles in with a little storage. Lots of room to open both the car doors and my truck doors at the same time.

And a detached garage, heated, which we call "The Shop".

I wish I could go bigger and put a little wood shop in, but I can't go much bigger. Maybe a shed in the yard for that purpose
