Is there any news on why we can't see the OTA status anymore? it just reads the following:

I still see it hanging in limbo doing nothing since 1/24. It hasn't even attempted to download a file since then. It actually says it expired, and they tried to download files 3 times after it said it was expired, and nothing since then.

I disabled auto updates. Thinking I may need to find the receiver and disable it directly. I don’t want Alexa in my truck, nor do I want features disabled or otherwise diminished from what I purchased.

Just so everyone knows, Alexa does nothing unless activated to an Amazon account. Having it without activating is as harmless as having an AM or Sirius radio you don’t use. That said, it’s everyone’s right to do as they please with their vehicles.

I may or may not have intimate knowledge of Alexa due to where I work

Disabling auto updates will not prevent your truck from downloading the OTA that contains Alexa. That only prevents updates that require the vehicle to be inhibited from installing without your consent. The OTA that has Alexa is not one of those updates.
