Just got back from our first trip of the 2024. 10 day journey with our 2023 E-Pro 20FBS TT. My 2021 Platinum PB ran great.

Avg around 11 MPG w/93 Octane gas. Drove at 65-68 mph on Interstate 75 and Interstate 95 with some secondary roads like US-301 in Fla. Balanced out the load in the trailer and the truck so the truck road nice. I'm so glad I changed my WDH last trip it makes such a difference when towing the TT.

Here are few pics I took along the way. I didn't need to use the ProPower Onboard this trip, but I was ready in case the campgrounds power went out. We had some wicked storms one night near Charleston SC. On the trips we did stop at Buc-ee's and had some traffic jams that is why the time seems high on some of the trip legs.

Overall 1035 miles & 104 gallons of 93 octane gas.

Trip route.

I like the picture from the scales. Almost perfect weight distribution for the truck

So much info on the PIDS it’s almost overwhelming

Good info! Wondering about the 93 octane though. What happens if you run regular (87/88) octane?

When I tow, I only use 93 octane gas. I have towed my trailer less than 20 miles with 87. But the ICE likes the extra octane when its pulling a load. The manual states run higher octane when hot or towing. So, I'm following what Ford recommends. Also I think it better for the engine long term.

Thanks, I worked on the WDS setup until I got it balanced. As for the PIDs, I mainly watch the battery and temp ones.

Is this presentation available once you add a trailer and tow?
I hope it’s across the trim levels, specifically 302A lol for when my ship comes in.

Yes, the trailer needs to be connected and it's in the tow menu after you select your trailer. I'm not sure about the lower trims.

I believe he has added digital temp number readout thru forscan. To my knowledge that can only be added Lariat and above ie full digital dash (I have a 302a as well). You can select the 2 middle gauges options from a list. I always have the transmission temp and boost gauges in the middle when I tow (it isn't automatic u have to select what u want). Boost gauge is very useful. U can see the effect of locking out upper gears on the amount of boost needed. Would be nice to see the actual temp but atlas can with our lowly trims!

That’s where OBDLinkMX+ comes in handy for us!
With regard to the gauges I’ve settled into this for the past 10k miles:

coolant temp, transmission fluid temp, boost pressure, fuel level
Both temperatures together then boost and fuel.

I'm surprised at the front axle weight. Last time I scaled my truck and trailer (with wheeling truck on) I had Front 2860, rear 3060, Trailer axles 4920 for a total of 10,840.

Correction, you don't need the trailer connected, just select it from the tow trailer menu and make it active. If nothing is connected it will tell you but you tell it ok to continue. Then that info on trailer shows.

My base weights are Front 3440 lbs/Rear 2740 lbs for 6180Lbs total wo any WDS or trailer attached.
