That’s what i think i’m going to be doing! Love the sounds of the 5.0 with just the muffler delete!

Some have said the same about resonator delete.

Hey everyone, wanting to do something with the exhaust on my 23 5.0. Don’t really want to spend what companies are asking for a car back exhaust so what are people doing otherwise to make their trucks sound better?

I decided to put a Magnaflow cat back exhaust on my 3.5powerboost. It makes a little louder burble when driving lightly and cruising around at 1500 rpm . Sounds very nice when i accelerate hard . Before i decided to put it on ,many said would be weirdd transition of sound if truck running electric . NOT TRUE . I like the modification very much

Finally got my video to upload! This has been on the truck over a year and it still makes me smile! This is a vibrant ultra quiet resonator, with the factory resonator deleted and factory muffler deleted. The resonator was placed in factory position with 3in pipe welded in to make the run down the truck to factory over axle piece.
Now just trying to figure out how I want to run a tip. I’m an STX truck so I just have bare pipe out the back. Thinking axle dump or nice high tucked tip.

It would look that but a gloss black tip only on drivers side. This is what my bumper looks like now.

I’m pretty sure I have 1142, it’s just the 3” version. I had mine welded in and a 3” pipe welded in to replace the muffler section. So the only thing is cats and vibrant resonator.

I have a Corsa sport pre tire exit and it sounds great. All these clowns chiming in about the sound of the CD must be pansies or something. It’s not that big of a deal as they make it out to be.

I agree, you definitely hear it but it doesn’t really bother me

Told my 25 year old daughter I wanted to modify my exhaust to make it louder. Her words were, "Dad, don't be one of THOSE guys." We can't help it. We are boys with expensive toys living out our childhood Tonka truck dreams.

I went with a Flowmaster Series 50 Delta Flow & kept the resonator. Installed by a local exhaust shop. I think it was about $300 total for parts & labor.

You can actually hear the engine at idle now, but it isn’t too loud. You do hear the engine on the highway without music on, but it doesn’t drone.

I may remove the resonator or go to a 40 series in the future.

I had a MBRP street series cat back on my 2017 Mustang GT & that exhaust was awesome. Check them out if you want a bolt on solution.

Corsa Sport. Sounds amazing with zero drone.

Replacing the factory muffler with a Corsa muffler also sounds really good and saves a ton of money.

Does anyone know of a direct fit for the BAP with factory duals? I want to replace the muffler, but I'm not excited about hacking up the factory exhaust.

I am pretty sure Corsa is the only one to make a catback for the BAP. I wish someone would just make a muffler replacement for the BAP since we already have the dual out back.
