I'm very happy with my 5.0 Lariat. Not sure what the differences are from the King Ranch but it's not a working man's truck with nice leather seats, steering wheel and two toned interior. Plus I just don't like the name King Ranch.

I'm no expert but I would say 4A, traction control off, Sport mode and load some RPMs.

If nothing else, I would want it for all wheel drive in the rain. Our back ends are light.

The Mustang gets a 5.0 badge and all other V8's by other manufacturers seem to have one so why not Ford trucks and SUV's?

The awesome sound of the 5.0 makes up for the difference in low end torque compared to the ecoboosts, IMO.

Been running E85 in mine for several months now. Wow, I can sure tell a difference in overall performance! I'm down almost 2 mpg but don't care.

Unless it's touchless, any drive through with brushes will put fine scratches in your clear coat.

Yes, in my opinion the all around better performance if definitely noticeable without a tune. It's nice!

I love the sliding rear window. I especially like it on the highway because you can have the front windows down slightly and you do not get the wind noise and the cab fills up with cool, moving air and goes out the back.
