KC Hilites 6” Apollo Pro mounted on the bumper. Combo beam for the outer lights and spot beam in the centers.
Wired up with KC’s included harnesses to a Blue Sea fuse/distro block & switches mounted above the light controls on the dash.
If you aren’t going off-road, just remove the rear blocks. Even if you’re going to do some fire roads, it’ll still be fine. I did it for a couple thousand miles and it is much easier getting in the bed and whatnot. But I started hitting trails and banging up my front bumper off-road, so the...
I went with a Flowmaster Series 50 Delta Flow & kept the resonator. Installed by a local exhaust shop. I think it was about $300 total for parts & labor.
You can actually hear the engine at idle now, but it isn’t too loud. You do hear the engine on the highway without music on, but it doesn’t...
Before I got the sliders, I managed to mess up where the front driver fender meets the cab by the driver door. Luckily I don’t see it unless I’m down there for something. But the truck won’t stay perfect forever if you’re going off road.
Maybe you could get a body shop to get it back to “good...
Not many on-the-shelf options for single cab trucks. I brought mine to CaliFab in Carmichael, CA & they made me a custom set. Welded to the frame with doubler plates & gussets.
A little more expensive than what you’ll see readily available for the super crew trucks, but great results.
Luckily I did have them on the correct sides. The bottom mounts were 90 degrees off. Ended up using a big socket and a breaker bar to spin them into position after bolting the tops in place. All squared away now.
I did give that a shot. I’m not the world’s strongest man, but not the weakest either. I had a screw driver in each of the bottom holes and it wasn’t budging. The damn screw drivers started bending.
Ordered this and attempted to install this weekend. Rears went in just fine. Tried to do the front and the lower mounts are 90 degrees off. Went this route over the plain Bilstein 6112/5160 route to avoid having to use a spring compressor. Anyone else have this issue?
There are dozens of us!
OP’s truck looks awesome and is the same route I’m planning to go: 34-35” tall, 10-11” wide. Probably won’t lift quite as high just because having the blocks out in the rear makes loading the dirt bikes easier, but we’ll see.
The big decision for me is do I keep the...
Hello everyone,
I’m selling the OEM soft folding vinyl tonneau cover for 6.5 foot bed. Taken off my truck after 1,000 miles because I added a softopper. In perfect condition, all hardware included. Local pickup in the Bay Area
Part number VML3Z99501A42E
Asking $350.
Cheers!
Down in the back to make it easier to access/load the bed. Front up if you don’t need it to be any easier to access the bed, need clearance, or just want the looks of a jacked up truck.
Rims look great. I’m seriously considering going bronze on my XL’s stock steelies. Probably plasti-dip before...
