What type of J2534 device did you use?

I used a wireless VCM3 and mine went thru in under 45 minutes for the IPMA module.

Mongoose, I was about to mention that when I saw yours did it that fast as the VCM must have a leg up in this area, which it should since it costs quite a bit more. Majority of us here are in the Mongoose gang so I would imagine it will take that long for others as well.

I've used one of those before (outside of and away from work) I would say it's speed is pretty comparable to a VCM2.

I am spoiled by having 2 VCM3s and 2 custom-built programming laptops as I do the majority of all the module programming and electrical diagnosis (one VCM is my personal one, the other is owned by the dealer I work for)

I use the VCM 3 over ethernet. Ideal way to do it. Crazy fast. Plus my computer can sit on my desk inside.

EDIT - Forscan will work with the VCM 3 over ethernet as well.

Maybe today or maybe a network scan will release it. I havent scanned mine yet. Sometimes it requires a scan.

Typically what happens is it was released yesterday and they show today without a scan

Any updates on the dreaded BCM update? Any more success/horror stories? I'm on a 501 trim 2021 Job 1 Lariat...and haven't taken the risk yet.

Ive heard a few install it in 502 and higher no issues. I havent heard too much for 501A and lower with Quad LED
