No need for a catch can after 2018. Ford did a redesign.

Because the PCV return is usually on the passenger side.Anybody know if there's such a thing as a driver's side can, or why its not needed?
Unless you want to keep all that crap out of your intake, turbo, intercooler, etc. The port injectors may help at the valve side but does nothing for everything ahead of it. If you don;t think so just pull off the tubes on your intercooler and let me know what that mess looks like.....As of 2018 Ford updated the 2.7 to include both port and direct injection. You do not need a catch can for anything newer than 2018.
The 3.5 EcoBoost is pfdi, so port and direct inject.Does the 3-5 only have direct injection or does it have port as well like the 5-0
Awesome, so in theory that little bit of sludge should get washed away by the port injectors? The 3.5 EcoBoost is pfdi, so port and direct inject.
So goes the theory.Awesome, so in theory that little bit of sludge should get washed away by the port injectors?
I’d really like to take a look inside my motor at 50 or 60K miles just to see if there’s any varnish or buildup in thereSo goes the theory.
I’ll probably do the same. Actually I may do it earlier since I don’t drive a whole lot.I’d really like to take a look inside my motor at 50 or 60K miles just to see if there’s any varnish or buildup in there
I was looking at those bore cameras thinking if I just pulled off a few hose clamps that I could see something interestingI’ll probably do the same. Actually I may do it earlier since I don’t drive a whole lot.
