Is the same thing happening to your second fob? See if it's possible to isolate the defective fob, if so. The only thing I could think of would be a stuck button.
Somehow I had completely displaced the existence of the Ford Maverick from my mind.
Wow, the US really did build some raunchy smaller cars in the 70's. (Former Vega and Gremlin owner here)
When I lived in an apartment for a few years recently, I would source all the components (oil/filter) and would go to the local valvoline quick-change place, and just hand them the parts to use. I paid them about $25 for labor. You should ask them in advance if they will do this, and keep asking...
Yeah I had a couple of recalls done in my driveway back in November. They reached out to me and asked if they could swing by and do it! Flipped the guy a twenty for the time and aggravation that they saved me. Win-win.
A day or two of screwing around at the dealer and next thing you know, it's actually cheaper to replace the battery on your own dime than it is to pursue a warranty claim. (if you put a value on your time)
Will the price outweigh your time necessary to adapt, customize, and fit these properly?
I used to tackle any "free" project when I was a kid. Time is now the most expensive currency.
I think your Plat is all-LED where it matters. My XLT had a number of halogen turn signal/brake light bulbs which has taken a fair amount of effort to find something better, but all of your signal lighting is via integrated LED assemblies.
Yes, those license plate bulbs are not meant for that...
I've actually had quite a number of signal/turn signal outages, even the license plate lights. (all of which were replacements to the OEM halogen/incandescent)
Turns out that my OEM battery was weak enough that the charging system was up over 15V trying to compensate. After changing the 12V...
I wonder if the two batteries are also isolated when the truck is off/at rest. Considering adding a second bluetooth monitor to the aux battery but would not make sense if the batteries stay in parallel at rest.
2022 XLT PB, 24K miles, no issues. The OEM 12V battery was getting weak so it was recently replaced. Would buy again in a heartbeat, has been the best vehicle that I've bought in a long time.
On a local subreddit, a plea went out from a local Tesla driver for some way to charge his car as the local supercharger was broken and he was down to about 15 miles of range. I got there in 20 minutes to assist, but unfortunately the 50A charger connector would not plug into the 30A socket that...
You might be right. I mostly do short runs under 10 miles, and perhaps once a week stretch her legs on the highway. I will consider this next time I do a test. thanks
You are correct if you are stating that the ADDITIVES in these oils will go 10K.
But I don't care for the fuel dilution that I've seen in these reports. That alone will mandate 5K changes irrespective of the oil that I use.
I just got my latest Blackstone report back with my first Amsoil Signature drain. I wanted to compare it vs. the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum that I've run for a few cycles.
I decided on these two oil brands because they were the winner & runner up in the Project Farm trials from a couple of years...
I was just on their website. It was written by an engineer, and not a product person. It would take me an hour to cross-reference a battery for a PowerBoost, let alone find a dealer on their site.
Is there a specific Northstar product/page that you would point us to for a PowerBoost?
thanks
