Thanks for the update. I recently bought the Carlink Max new version hoping it would work, but was unable to achieve full screen. I am thinking of pulling the trigger on the Carluex Pro myself to see if it will work. I have the same versions downloaded as well and have turned off auto updates to help prevent something that may work from getting bricked.

Looks like my Carluex Pro has been marked as shipped. Their website shows an address in Albany, NY. The tracking shows shipping from Hong Kong, oh boy!! If I need to do a return, I'm guessing it won't be fun. The website mentions $30 restock fees too. Hoping for the best, but be aware.

Update: After speaking through email with Carluex customer service I can confirm. All orders ship from and all returns are processed in China. If you don't like the performance for example and need to process a return the customer pays out of pocket $20 shipping fee to China and a $30 restocking fee. $50 to find out if the product is worth it or not, that really sucks! The fact that their website references an address in NY is already a strike in my book. That's very misleading. Buyer Beware!!

Received my Carluex Pro Wireless today. Came via Express UPS, next-day delivery from Hong Kong. That's a plus!

When I first got it up and running, the UI was cut off by the Ford Widget. Was able to get it fullscreen though after going back to my Android Auto and then back to the Carluex options in Sync's Phone List. Will be playing with it tonight and tomorrow. Hope to report back with good news and some video for you guys. So far, it seems to respond pretty quickly and the audio/video are working just fine.

Glad it worked out for you. I received mine today but cannot get past the UI screen. See attached photo. Can you please give me some more direction on how to get it to go to full screen?

I'm still going through growing pains myself. Finding plenty of bugs for sure. No matter how many times I arrange the apps on the app pages, they always go back to default when the truck turns off/on. Probably the most annoying bug is everytime I put the truck in reverse, it closes the app I'm using and goes back to the home screen, that truly sucks! Emailing support which is in China. This means I ask one question, get an answer or they ask a question of me at 3am. Troubleshooting issues can be a test of patience in situations like these.

As for going full screen, try going into Sync Settings, meaning the option on the bottom right of Sync then Phone List. Press the Carplay icon, this will disconnect from the Carluex box. Wait a min and press Carplay in phone list again. Now press the Carplay icon on Sync, bottom left, if that doesn't work, try the Sync Settings button again, then right back to Sync Carplay button. That usually does it for me. At this point, it almost always defaults to Carply in Fullscreen when I start the truck. As if once you get it full, it will go full.

I use Android phone, I've had luck in the past choosing Android Auto in Sync Settings then Phone List. Press Android Auto icon next to Android Phone. Then make sure Android Auto is in fullscreen mode, map works the best. Then, wait a min, go back to Phone List and choose Carplay Icon. That might trick it to fullscreen as well.

Will do thanks for all of the info. I will be playing with it today. I also realized that I had a different screen and temperature controls set up from Forscan that could be causing my problems so I am going to reset it back to factory and see if that helps.

Sounds good, good luck! No response at all from support last night, ugh. Guessing I'll be lucky to get a reply by Monday or Tuesday now. Their website states 24/7 support. Again, their address shows NY too but they're actually in China.

Sounds like I’ve been through the same pains as you guys. Messed with the carlinkit t box for days. Did their update but still not working. I’ve purchased the MMB max, as I saw you got it working on some versions of updates. I’m just on 3.5.3 right when they started doing CarPlay full screen, so do you think it could work with that version and then choose to not upgrade? Thanks!

and it works in new sync 23031 full car play with no issues.

Gotcha, thanks for all the info and pics. How's the speed and over all experience? Any bugs that you know of so far?

I've had lots of bugs with the Carluex, the TBox seems to be the most reliable and fastest by far but no fullscreen with Sync 23031. The TBox has audio issues sometimes. Seems to be with Google Maps, when using it throws all the audio to the front left. Try opening another app for music for example while Google Maps is running, all the audio sounds like it coming out of front left only. No fullscreen and the audio issues are my only real complaints.

Was wondering if you are seeing anything like this with your Cusp Box?

On the Cusp box, see if it says TBox in the about section if you have a chance.

After resetting my screen in Forscan I was able to get full screen with Carleux, but as you mentioned, having a few bugs and connectivity issues. Still debating on returning it especially if there is a more dependable option out there.

Carluex support did reply to my list of issues, want me to send video. Will post back once I get responses.

Are you seeing issues when going rev, drive, park...going back to home screen?

Do your app icons retain custom layout or default back after every stop & strat of truck?

No issues when navigating between rev and drive. Mostly connection just randomly drops and I have to enter Wi-Fi and BT again.

And yes, the Icons do change after each engine start and stop.
