OK I'm old and my eyesight's poor. And the Job2 order guide (Feb. '24) ain't exactly super resolution.

So what is the max. payload for 2wd 145" WB Scabs and Screws with the 2.7EB?

Is Scab 1675# or 1875#? Is Screw 1690# or 1890#?

Is Scab 1675# or 1875#? Is Screw 1690# or 1890#?
Sharp eyes and zoomed-in PDF on a computer screen reveal the numbers are 1675 and 1690 respectively. The digit "8" can be found next to the digit "6" on the chart and albeit fuzzy the two are distinguishable and different.

Personally, I don't place much meaningful value on those charts, so much depends on exact vehicle specs / trim / etc.

Browsing around this morning in my Fleet account and pulled up the Owners Manual for 2024 F150. Haven't seen it out in the wild, so I thought I'd share it for anyone interested. Feel free to move to another thread if this isn't the proper place. This one is nice and clear, unlike the Job 2 Order Guide that looks like it came from a potato.

It is interesting that they refer to the Pro Access Tailgate as the Multi-Access Tailgate in the owners manual.

I got to pages 29 - 32 and stopped reading after that. Almost made me not want to buy a new truck (my 2019 Ram Rebel doesn't have all of this stuff...).

I'm probably a little overly sensitive about it, but "big brother" is in full effect. :(

Anyone have a ballpark estimate of when the order blanks will close?
2024 F-150 Order Bank open date is just announced as September 14th, 2023. A few highlights on information
  • Production starts in January and will run through November for a total of 11 months of 2024 Production
  • Refreshed body style as you've seen via leaks online
  • Tremor trim level will only be 6% of overall production (this has been our fastest turning trim and at 6% it won't be oversupplied).
  • Platinum Trim will be 4% of overall production
  • 2.7L Ecoboost is now the standard engine rather than the 3.3L naturally aspirated V6.
  • There will be an added emphasis on the Powerboost Hybrid and Ford has put heavier factory discounts on these engines (I would imagine this is because of CAFE standards).
  • Ordering complexity reduction is an area of emphasis, so less options, more standard features and packaged content rather than individual options will be more prevalent.
  • Build and Price should be available on September 14th when order banks open.
I will post the 2024 F-150 Order guide up on this thread when it is available.

Thanks, I'm just now exploring the possibility of replacing my '97 PowerStroke with an F150 and good to know there is still an opening into summer at least.

No Towing Mirrors w/Powerboost :(
Such a disappointment to read thru these streaming changes. I am glad I have my 22 KR BP when I could order it the way I wanted (and before all the option deleting started) VS what appears to be a cookie cutter / one size fits all King Ranch package.
-No towing mirrors with the Hybrid (which makes no sense to me)....
-All KRs now have the sunroof.... which I would not want. Such a difference in noise in the cabin with a full headliner VS the thin cloth sunscreen that the sunroof has. Not the mention the know issues with leaking......
-No more KR Chrome package.... so painted bumpers that rust after a few years...especially with our North Eastern NY winters...
- What's with the 360 degree camera now having a subscription ?? For what ? That doesn't make any sense to me ....must be missing something....
And I could go on....
About the only positive is the Hybrid is now a no-cost option.
And it seems some of the deletes are back... multicontour seats, etc.....

Also glad I ordered & got my 23 XLT SuperCab with the 8 foot box..... can't buy any F150 with the 8 foot box unless you want the regular cab XL............shaking my head at these decisions .... they don't make sense to me and looks like I'll be keeping my 22 and 23 for more than my usual 2.5-3 years.... UNLESS this is a one year fluke and things change for 25s and beyond. Not hopeful on that.........

It looks like with the Job 2 they actually did bring back Towing Mirrors to the Powerboost.

Hmm... Job 2 order banks weren't even open until 2/16 (which is also when they converted the remaining Job 1 orders to Job 2). On 2/6 they were scheduling Job 1 trucks for Production week 3/25 (and doing final cleanup of Job 1 orders).

I'd be surprised if there were a Job 2 truck on the lot at this point (actually built and on the lot, not just advertised by a dealer).
