Here is my "build" thread for my 2021 F-150.

When I bought truck I was in between it and a 2021 Oxford White 401a Tremor. I really liked the Tremor, but I wanted to do the 5.0 one more time because I'm was a little afraid that with the ever increasing CAFE restrictions and Ford's love for the EcoBoost that this might be the last F-150 generation to have a V8. For the record I have nothing against the EcoBoost. They're quick and seem to be pretty reliable. My friends and family who have owned them all love them, but I just wanted the V8. Had Ford offered the Tremor with a 5.0 I 100% would've pulled the trigger on it, but they don't so I'll have to do my own thing.

This is my 3rd F-150 and is becoming my favorite. My previous two F-150s were a 2015 Oxford White XLT (SuperCrew, 5.0, FX4) and a 2018 Agate Black Lariat (SuperCrew, 3.0 Power Stroke, FX4).

My first "mod" for my 2021 was to swap out the factory 20" wheels for some factory 18" wheels.

Next I had the truck leveled with Eibach struts, springs and rear shocks and added some 295/70R18 Falcon Wildpeak AT3W tires. So far I really like the Falcon Wildpeaks. I've had a bunch of different tires on vehicles throughout the years: Toyo ATs, Toyo MTs, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, Pro Comp MT2s, two sets of BFG KM2s, three sets of BFG KO2s, Cooper ATs and these Falcons are up there with the best I've had yet. Really impressed so far.

After that I took off the powered air dam and then trimmed off the remaining chin spoiler.

Then I added the Ford OE rear wheel well liners and stone guard deletes.

This brings me to where it sits today. Still have quite a bit planned for it and will update this thread as the build progresses.

Nothing new on the truck, but the truck my dad ordered finally came in, so I went out to his place this weekend to check it out and snapped a couple of pics.

@ChadSmith That looks fantastic! Can I bug you for the part numbers for both the wheel well liners and the rock guard deletes?

I love the stance of your truck! What setting do you have the coilovers set at? Did you replace the stock rear block? Does it sit completely level or is there any rake? I’m looking into leveling my truck and would like to get it as level as possible but the rear sat with about 4” of rear rake from factory.

Thanks! It’s not a “true” coilover from Eibach, but rather their struts, springs and rear shocks all bought separately and run together. I have the struts set to 0” of lift and the coils provide all the lift. I think it settled to about 2.6” and it sits slightly higher in the front now—probably 0.75“ higher. I am going to either run a bigger block in the back or new leaf springs to get a little bit of the rake back.

Overall I’m happy with it, but if I were to do it again today I would probably go with the Ford Performance/Bilstein kit or the kit Eibach released for the 2021+ trucks rather than to piece it together the way I did.

Did you leave the stock rear block in when you changed out the shocks? I have the same truck as you and the rear sits so high stock.
How is the ride compared to when it was stock? Have you had any issues upfront with your 4x4 because of the cv angles?

I left the rear block when I changed out the shocks. The truck rides different than it did stock for sure. It's more firm. Not in a rough way though, but rather it feels more planted and has less body roll. Also doesn't have the floating feeling that it had from the factory. No issues with 4x4.

After seeing your truck and getting your feed back I’ll probably go with the adjustable coilover kit (that way I can play with the height) from Eibach and purchase some UCA too. Thanks again for the help!

Yeah, glad I could be of help! Good luck on your build. Post some pictures once you get it all set up.

Nice truck! In my opinion all you need now is some plasti dip on the wheels to get rid of the chrome and it’ll look killer!

Thanks! Yeah, that looks great! I've considered either doing that or the Raptor bead lock takeoffs. Can't decide which to do.

Thankfully Ford has the 5.0 Coyote standard for the 2023 Tremor.
