At what when do we think the first MY23s will start shipping. I'm kinda assuming I'll still be waiting when that happens...
There was a youtube vid posted elsewhere on the forum from a dealer (in Kansas I think) that stated Balance Out for F150 would happen in October.

This SUCKS--ordered 10/29 still waiting, am currently a priority 2--lot of good it seems to be doing.
Ouch, I can't even complain with a date that far back - what did you order?

Based on last year's schedule there's no way to know. They took orders for MY21 into the fall and produced them pretty much until December.
Last year they started converting orders as early as September.

Going that route may not be such a bad idea assuming Ford doesn’t continue stripping features away. Seems their emphasis is based on Ford Lightning models ate the moment, and trucks with the less chips possible. I’ll guess Sept-October for MY23s.

It is in fact a priority 2 per my dealer and Smart Vincent, and Ford customer support.

First I went on hold for snow plow prep, then I went on hold for the 5.0, then for other various things, then for 360 camera, this week for chrome running boards. Went to drop those, and the order is locked. Maybe that is good since Ford locks the orders when they are ready to schedule. One can only hope.

Not sure this is true. More than 2 months waiting for my XL order to get scheduled.

XL since wanted RCSB. Did not want copilot, and XLT forced copilot with options i wanted.

5.0. 3.73 locker. 101A. Chrome. FX4. Tow. Sync 4 enhanced.
Even removed spray in liner last week. Nothing else on comodity list. Dealer is high volumn as well.

Not chip heavy at all. No VIN. Ordered on 2/11.

I “think” the number 1 constraint/issue for many orders that isn’t really discussed is wheelbase.

If you’re not ordering a 145”. I would wager more than half of F-150s produced are specific to 145” and the majority of those are SCREWs. So allocation for 122s, 142s, 157s, and 164s is already thin, then you sprinkle in commodity restrictions and suddenly, Ford is just kicking your order down the road.

At least that is the common outlier I can find for very similar 502As to mine that were ordered in January and are already being delivered.

I was about to ask if anyone had 6.5’ beds getting any love…. I can find trucks with my spec with the 5.5’ bed.

Oh yeah....talked to two dealers that had trucks close to my spec, but with the 5.5 bed. Ford's website said they were in stock at the dealers. When I talked to the sales people they said each one was going to be upfitted to higher models (lifted?), one at Roush, one somewhere else. One commented the 3.73 rear end made them hot items. Whatever..... :)

I just found a truck with everything I ordered right down to the color EXCEPT it didn’t have the snow plow prep I ordered. This was a dealer order, built the end of March. I thought customer orders were supposed to go before dealer orders. I know I wasn’t on hold for the plow prep package.
