Starguard GPS

A device is under the dash manufactured by 'Starguard', supposedly a GPS tracker that will help law enforcement locate your vehicle if it is stolen.

Anyone have any information about the devices, if they have a negitive impact on the electronics or if they introduce any common problems?

I've located the website, attempted to register the device and got an error.

My truck came with one…not the same brand as yours but I removed it. The one I had piggyback on the OBD port and I didn’t want anything in between the port and my PC while I was making Forscan changes. Your OBD port should be white.

Only Power was connected. Removal took 5 minutes
