The final steps to BC email says:

do not choose midnight, needs to be between 8:00 am and 11:00pm ET.

Ford Customer support told me the same thing.. Do not choose exactly 12:00am. Not sure why.. My query was unrelated to BC, just more of a general update question.

Another Albertan!

Auto updates toggle will be on your settings category, swipe the tiles till you see updates. The toggle to turn on auto updates will show on the truck’s sync 4 screen, you may need to add a schedule time to it as well, preferably around midnight or something, when your not driving. For example, mine is turned on everyday at midnight.

That’s weird, none of my friends here in Alberta shows it at all. Mine neither. Here’s the screenshot. And yes all of our trucks 1AM daily now in the update schedule set in the trucks? FordPass app is up to date on iPhone 13 PM.

I have mine set to 12:10 or 12:15am, and has been that way for a month or two. I was updated to the latest 2.8.1 last week, with full blue cruise working ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Power-Up_Version_History ). Pretty sure I have a Job 1 truck; I also got cameras in motion after the recent update.

The only reason I picked the time just after midnight, was to make sure I wasn't confused about weather it was set to AM and not afternoon.. maybe the truck has the same issued I do figuring it out..

My truck was stuck on 1.7.1. The dealer unstuck it and got BlueCruise running about a month ago. It took several days but the tech got ‘er done. I am not sure what PowerUp version he got to. Last week I got 2.8.2 via OTA. Today I got 2.8.3 OTA. Both were done without any downtime so they were installed outside of my specified update times. I guess 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 are little ones and don’t require the truck to be out of service. I have not noticed any new features since taking it into the dealership about a month ago. I am at sync rev 421 now vs. 364 when the dealership worked on it.
