Strange high pitched scraping noise

Long weekend up here in Canada so can’t have the truck checked out until Tuesday or later but I heard this noise on my way home from work today. I feel like I’ve heard something squeal/scrape before but this is definitely the loudest most obvious noise so far.

Anyone have any idea what it might be?

Truck has 800km (500miles) on it. No mods.

Brakes look fine and I don’t see anything off on the underside and no recalls. Thanks!

I had the same thing happe to me when getting the camper for the 1st time. Turns out a rock got stuck between the dust sheild and brake rotor on drivers front. I had to take the wheel off and gently pry the dust sheild back to get it out. Hope this helps.

At least climb under it and visually inspect for any shield or other component hanging or in contact with the driveshaft.

Same thing happened to me, mine was significantly louder and more obnoxious. People on the street were stopping their conversation to look at what the hell was causing the noise.

Turns out what was causing the noise was the break shield on the rear right passenger side wheel was pushed in and rubbing against the back side of the disc. Pulled it out a bit and now the noise is gone. Thank you all for your suggestions and help
