Is it possible to select a trailer profile if the 7 pin is unplugged? It seems odd that my truck allows me to select a trailer even though it's not connected.
The long story is I got my truck updates to the latest sync and when I tried to set up my trailer today there were no prompts for trailer brakes and the truck didn't seem to recognize the 7 pin was connected or not. But when plugged in the signals and brake lights on the trailer work. BUT, no trailer braking.... no errors but no braking when I squeeze the manual switch on the dask
