Raptor 37x12.5x17 takeoffs on lifted f150?

With a Fox 2.0 setup, would this be doable with a minimal amount of bending/cutting?

I’ve seen plenty of people do the 35” takeoffs with a level no problem.

I understand the 3.55 gears aren’t ideal for the bigger tire, but I’ve read the 37s are actually 36.5 and there are 10 gears, sooo

Am I way off base?

I have 295/65R20s, which are supposed to be 35.1”x11.6”, with a 2” level and I’d have to say any bigger would rub in just about every place it can. I don’t think cutting things would fix it either.

3.55 gears with 35” tires is fucked, can’t even imagine how bad 37’s would be you would destroy that trans in no time .​

My last truck had 3.55 gears and 35’s ………going up a long toll road hill fully pinned on the throttle I would lose rpms and speed (at full throttle) trying to make the grade. Super dumb and had to regear to 4.56 gears. Don’t even try it if you are gonna Jew out on gearing.​

But what truck was that? If you had a 4 speed trans in that truck yeah it probably couldn't drop back to 2nd and didn't have the muster to hold 3rd.

But with 10 gears there's bound to be one that can deliver the mail.

good call it was indeed 5.4 with 4 speed. Still the right suggestion is to gear. 37’s with 3.55 any stock Camry is taking you off the line and just about everywhere else, If that’s your cup of tea 37’s all day I guess just so wrong to me from past personal experiences in silverados/tundras/f150s

Yeah I am concerned with this exact thing, and also I don't want to render 9-10th useless

Would like to see some forum posts about before and after a 6" lift, 35ish inch tires and then a re-gear, preferably with a 3.5EB and 3.55 rear end

3.5, 3.55 gears, 35x12.5 tires, a topper and a bed full of tools and she pulls with no hesitation. I’m actually impressed with how much performance I didn’t lose! I’m at 17.5 mpg but it’s winter fuel and my truck idles for about an hour everyday. Take that for what it’s worth.

I was looking at the 37x12.5x17 raptor takeoffs but just saw that Nitto has a ridge grappler in 37x11.5x18

Less likely to rub in turns, would only need to worry about top of tire hitting wheel well with extreme travel, right?

The 37s are 77lbs vs 70lbs for 35s.

Agreed. I've got 35x11.5 and 3:55's and didn't really notice any performance losses.
Could be cause I'm not a very aggressive driver.

I love the 37” Braptor takeoffs, but looks like he’s on a 3” icon lift so he has more wiggle room.

3.5 with 10 speed is a different animal. 37's will slow it down, but not like you are describing.

Raptors run 4.10s and some have complained it's not enough gear. 3.55s w/ 37s will be quite a bit rougher on the trans not just from gearing but the additional mass. I went from the 32.8" to 34.1" tires and it's essentially made it a 3.58 ratio on the PB which comes with 3.73s.

Going from factory 20" wheel/tire to raptor 37s takes the effective gearing from 3.55 down to 3.15. If you have 18" factory wheels, it's even rougher as the 18s are smaller tires.
Regearing to 4.10s makes the effective gearing ~3.66:1. Raptors on their 34.4s has an effective gearing of 3.9:1 compared to the 32.8" stock 20" tires.

FWIW, the raptor's "35s" are actually only 34.4". My LT 275-65-20s are 34.1". Non LTs are a little smaller

A 5.4/4 Speed struggled up hill stock lol, they made like 198 HP to the wheel. The 6 speed helped alot because it wasn’t an inefficient slush box like the 4R70W. My 5.4/6 speed was actually pretty decent, but the 4 speeds I’ve driven were absolute pigs.
