Mounted my new Escort Maxcam 360c and also hardwired it to the rear view mirror.

2021 Lariat mirror wiring -
Green wire = power
Black wire = ground

Blend Mount BMG-2001G

I like that mount. I have my Escort Max360C hardwired much like yours. However, I have the suction cup that will occasionally fall down during high/low temp combinations.

I would love to mount mine here, but I can’t live without the mute button on the charging cord.

The only reason why I did it this way is because this radar has the mute button right at the front so it's pretty convenient to mute it. Otherwise, I would have left the smart chord on.

I mounted my V1 high on the windshield and mounted a remote display/mute here…

Does anyone know of a mount similar to Blendmount but locate the rd to one side of the mirror as shown in the picture instead of below? I tried the Blendmount but it blocked too much of the view based on the mounting height needed for the mag mount detach to have enough clearance.

Thanks for saving me a few minutes on hunting of the power wire. Additionally, your photo confirms that my existing blend mount for my 9500ix will work for the Lariat rear view mirror, and I don't have to order a different piece for that!

Pro tip for you guys, I took my truck into the dealer due to my 360 cameras being misaligned on the side views one day when I threw it in reverse. They blamed it on my radar detector being mounted to the mirror and tapped into those wires for the auto dimming mirror. I am very well versed in electronics and aftermarket modifications so I am 100% sure this has nothing to do with the issue and I refused to pay $300 for service on a clear glitch that just randomly happened one day on a truck with <2k miles still under warranty. Regardless of how high in management I went and my threats to never buy another truck there again(already also purchased a raptor and bronco in the last year) they wouldn’t release the truck until I paid. Long story short just remove that mount and those wires if you need service on anything camera related. It’ll save you a headache since you technically can’t PROVE it DIDNT cause an issue.
