Pro Trailer Back Up Cable and Sensor missing from 22s?

A member from a FB group mentioned his cable didn’t come standard with the truck anymore siting this is a 22 change and when mentioned, his dealer is getting one for free.

Any truth to this? I asked my dealer to verify if it was still in the truck and was told “whatever ford puts in there is what it comes with”. Not the answer I was hoping for.

My 2021 Lariat Powerboost was build on 3/29/2021, however it was delivered on 8/12 due to chip shortages. When I picked up my truck I noticed that the cable and sensor were missing. The dealer me a new one at no charge. It actually took a while for it to come in, I believe that I received it in November. there is a section in the quick reference guide for the the Pro trailer assist that said my came with both the cable and stickers. You may want to check that on your 2022.

The Pro Trailer Ref Guide is separate booklet included with the quick manuals in the pouch, generally in the glove box.

I thought I read somewhere on the forum that sometime in 2021 they switched to just the stickers?
My 22 also did not come with a cable/sensor, just the stickers in the manual.
