Yeah test drove it everything seemed fine. Since it'll be new can just take it to the dealership for warranty. Going to see if they'll let me change it from a supercrew Lariat 6.5 to a supercrew lariat 5.5. Don't like the long bed.

What do you guys have, 6.5 or 5.5?

Have a 23 PB Lariat with 5500 miles and so far I love the truck. Averaging about 22.5. Mpg. Only thing is the value dropped hard on these trucks.
I'm trying to get out of my PB and I'm down about 16k since April when I bought it. Still might pull the trigger on a new 24 EB with Granger. Its Christmas time after all! :)

Why are you trying to get out of it?

I've had a number of issues with it so far. The SSN issue (which appears to be fixed), bad battery, various errors / electrical bugs, a couple of fit/finish issues on the interior. My dealer is ill-equipped to deal with any PB problems. No confidence in the truck. The list goes on. The PB's seem to be feast or famine. Either you get a good one and have no issues, or you get one that is plagued from the day you buy it. There doesn't seem to be many in between. I'm sure the vast majority are fine, but this one is just not for me.

5.5 with the 4 door PowerBoost. That’s 5.5’ more cargo bed space than I have with my H3 and I can maneuver it pretty easily still. Needs, wants, and compromises sir. I purchased my truck off the lot back in January to pull a camper I was shopping for and then life happened…
Now I likely won’t purchase the trailer until 2025 but the F-150 PowerBoost has been everything I hoped it would be and then some.

I have a 6.5' box. It full of stuff when I'm towing. Things like black tank dumping equipment, floor jack, tool box,, blocks for the tongue jack, etc, ect.

Great use of the extra space! I imagine the longer wheelbase tows and backs just a little bit smoother as well. Turns are more of a challenge perhaps, but slow and easy down the road you go...

Depends on how much you paid for it. In addition to the $1900 discount and $1500 incentive I walked out the door for $6k off sticker.

I have the 6.5 bed and I love it. I did get a retractable tonneau cover so I do loose about 8-10" on the topside for the canister. If I had a 5.5 bed, I'd have about 4.5' of usable space. No thank you.

Yes, it turns a bit wider, but you really get used to it and find you can fit it just about anywhere a regular truck would go.

I think my wheelbase is just right. My spacious four door cabin is large and out of proportion, but I chose to give up the bed space for the increased interior room while keeping the ideal half ton wheelbase. And, since I don’t use a fancy retractable cover 😉 all the bed space is usable…

I have on my last 3 trucks. I purchase separately, so if I sell or trade I receive back a pro-rated refund for unused portion.

Have yet to have a claim, but it's good for peace of mind with these expensive components like LED lighting and 42 electronic modules.

I think I purchased 8 years 100,000 on this current 2022 Powerboost. Grainger Ford.
Forum Vendor too.
Steeply discounted.
Win Win, in my opinion.

I think the only downside to PB is payload hit and initial higher price. If you don't care about payload, there are also SUV options for towing. If short term is your goad, PB would be fine. Not sure for a 15-20yr PB (or any hybrid for that matter). A new car is a new car.

I love my 21. 🤗 It's got so many features that I can't remember how to use some of them, but the big one is the ability to power my house if a hurricane comes. My wife wants to trade it in for a Mercedes or a Genesis, but I can't find similar features on them. It's really a luxury pickup and I'm trouble-free at 24,000 miles. My only complaint is the ride quality. It's harsh, no two ways about it, and I suspect the heavy duty springs. The ride is the sole reason I'd look at a luxury car.
