The last OTA update I got was 4.2.4, that was May 12 2023. I don't even look for them anymore. I renewed Blue Cruise expecting it to be updated but nothing, same old same old.
It's too late now, the time to say no has gone. From this point if you say no you're looking at family trouble. In time they'll forget the time you lent the boy your truck, but they'll never forget the time you wouldn't lend the boy your truck.
Chances are the truck will come back in good shape.
'21 Job 1 Powerboost, no issues, it's a very nice truck. But it has a lot of tech so to avoid future issues I bought a 10 year 100,000 mile Ford Premium Care warranty. I sleep well at night. ;)

One of the reasons I bought the '21 Ford Powerboost was the OTA feature. It turned out to be a flop. I haven't received any updates since September. That might mean I'm completely up to date but I doubt it.
