OTA Update - 23-PU0904-PPO-PRP

Has anyone successfully installed OTA 23-PU0904-PPO-PRP? Received notification that it was downloaded but has failed the install 2x now, even after making sure battery was fully charged. Did a quick search and didn't find anything, so was curious. Thanks.

This update was also reported for the first time this evening at the link below. I'm not sure if he's attempted to install it yet. @Wangchung83 can you report if your ota installs successfully?

I do not know what the number of the OTA update was as it does not send me a message to the message center of the app anymore. At least for me.

However on Sunday I did see the notification that an OTA update was pending for my Monday install. It said it was 40 minutes long and it had to do with the doors. I charged up the battery and it went through without issue.

I got mine to install after a battery charge. Ever since I’ve had trouble with sync reboots and sometimes the doors don’t unlock with touch. Can’t say I’m impressed with these upgrades that make my ford better over time.

The doors not unlocking to touch can be from a low battery.

Will do going to install at lunch today. I’ve also found that this update may be specific to those with tremor package and digital display. The update basically is to fix the instrument cluster from cutting out when going into trailer tow screen and tire pressure. When 22-23 models would go into this screen many MY22 would get a blank screen so this update may not go to all. I’ll report back once I try to install.

Ah, interesting. Thanks for the info. I do have a 402A Tremor. I also had the above issue but had the dealer install an IPC (IIRC) update which resolved it. Maybe that is why mine keeps failing to install? It's scheduled to install again today, so we'll see how it goes.

It did go through at lunch, here’s the ota success, haven’t had a chance to test out to see if it was successful yet.

Just a heads up after that last update have noticed that CarPlay is cutting in and out. Never happened before the update and I’m thinking it has to have been last ota ppo-prp. Getting fed up with ford at the moment as it’s almost like they fix something and break something else. Still no bluecruise update and not sure why anyone would pay extra for something obviously f150s are left behind on. They want 2400 for three years but don’t update ours or we’re a year late. Guess my money is just to support the lightenings, mach e, etc. that have had 1.2 and 1.4 for over a year. Anyway sorry for the rambling, it’s just getting old. Without people on this forum we would all have expensive paperweights:/.

This OTA has only been reported by owners of "Tremor" version trucks so far. I'm not sure what was addressed in the OTA. @Wangchung83 maybe you can send your VIN to @rugedraw and he will be able to elaborate for us as to exactly what the OTA updated and changed.
