No Hard Copy Of the 2021 F150 Manual

I did not get a hard copy of the owners manual. Did everyone get a copy included with their new truck. I have it on a stick but I want a hard copy and they cost $35

I probably spent more than that but it was a fun activity to kill some time while waiting...

- printed the pdf (duplex color), it prints as a booklet format so the stack of sheets needed to be cut in half.
- built a jig to hold the stack firm and straight through the bandsaw
- ordered binding glue, clamped together and glued on a spine.
- read end to end

now I need to come up with a good durable cover so when the truck comes I can put in the glove box. Worst case I will use some card stock but have to come up with a design/logo.

Nice! I had gathered from comments that it wasn’t being included as it was available through the 12” screen. Maybe they rethought that, maybe I read wrong or maybe it varies by trim.

What trim did you get?

That thing is more of a quick start guide than an actual owner manual.
the owners manual is in the vicinity of 735 pages

Yeah I looked it is actually a supplemental owners manual not a full one.

I just went through the online manual and if you are going to print it out be sure to omit all the pages that are not relevant to your truck. I'll note what pages have want so I don't have to scroll through 700 pages

Good idea... guess I could have omitted the section on diesels... but printing booklet format in duplex there are 4 pages per sheet and it prints inside out (ie one sheet will have page 44,45 and 480, 481) so it would have been extremely hard to skip some and still have things line up.

It would cost you as much in ink and paper to print as it would just to buy it.

It wasn't a mistake that you did not receive the owners manual, it was a conscious decision by Ford and many others to follow
