How many keys?

Bought a new 2022 F150 Platinum a few weeks ago

As sad as it is I just realized the fob holds a key that's used for locking the glove box, center console, and lockable storage.

I never really bothered to look at the 2nd fob they gave me, just ended up putting it in a safe spot. Today I realized that 2nd fob doesn't have that key.

This is my first time buying a brand new truck. Just looking to see if most people get that key in both fobs or if it's normal to only get one?

Both of my 21 Lariat key fobs are exactly the same with the physical key inside

I appreciate it! I figured it would be odd if they only gave you one. Guess I shall try my luck reaching out to the dealership on Monday

Do you have a push button start? In my case I have two fobs and a single, separate metal key that can open the drivers door and a couple other things. If you have key fobs with an internal, flip out key that's a different truck setup.

I think Griffin is Not talking about the physical key inside the key fob, he is talking about a separate key that is used for securing cargo in the truck bed etc.

Yeah, I have the push button start. I'm talking about the key that slides inside the fob, only 1 fob has one

It's very possible that your second key fob is a replacement knock off sold on Amazon. OE Ford key fobs have the blue oval ford logo on the reverse side. An OE key fob will only come with a precut key based on vin number. Please post a pic of the reverse side of the fob.

That would have been very disappointing lol. They both have the blue ford logo

Do both key fobs have the Ford part number, fcc ID, and importantly the CNC ID inside. The cnc ID is for the key cut.

No fcc id on either. The number layout on mine are a bit different. Where your fcc id is, is where my ford part number is.
But other than that, they both have part numbers, C, IC, and CNC numbers. They both have identical numbering on the inside

It is . Makes me feel like they did me dirty. I didn't get the 2nd key same day and never really thought to look at it, just put it away.
I came from a 13 Lariat and so still finding out all the little tricks with my 22

It would appear that the second key fob was lost in transit or at the dealer and the dealer pulled a fast one on you to deliver the truck. I would go back and have them make it right for you. As @UGADawg96 said those fobs don't look right, they dont even match.
