For those who do not follow the FDRS thread closely, Our most knowledgeable member there has reported that a new OTA will be coming to our trucks in the near future. Power-Up 6.3.0, this is an APIM update and will give you a new SYNC version number 23291. See the release notes below.

Any pictures of new sync stuff? Can you select drive modes on the head unit now? (2021 F-150).

I doubt drive modes would move to center screen.
That is probably not a sentence meant for our trucks but for the other vehicles. When someone gets the OTA we can see what the notes say on truck screen.

It's in que for a couple of forum members, but hasn't been installed yet via. OTA, so we'll have to wait and see what we get. It can be installed now using FDRS. I understand it's a big update 5 gig's. So make sure your battery is chaged!

I tend to agree but I’ve seen it in screen shots in the forums. I think it was a mod that displayed them but they weren’t selectable but still, one can dream

If you've made forscan changes recently, within the last month or so, the changes may be lost and have to be re done. If the changes were made a while ago they will be incorporated in the update. It all depends if you're changes have propagated up to the Ford cloud.

This is always a possibility. The frequency our trucks upload as-built to the Ford servers seems to vary widely. If you made changes a year ago they will probably stick, but if you changed something last week and the update comes it will probably revert to default.
Some have posted they made changes long ago and updates put them back to default. If it happens it happens, just need to go back into Forscan again and setup how you like it. I keep a list of all my mods and multiple backup copies so it's easy for me to put back in.

Now after a marathon weekend of updating a pretty much stock '21 PB and returning the cable, I get to see if OTA actually works

think this has the turn signal cameras?? wishing as i just installed 2nd level cameras on the bus today to give me side view all the time in conjunction with the rear camera, nose camera tomorrow
still no where near as good as the 360 cameras in our trucks

You can actually leave your truck running for APIM updates once it starts downloading from Ford's servers.
