My truck I’ve had for about 8-10 days.
1000 miles on it

today I walked out from my office and noticed a swirly area under my passenger door handle ( front door)

I have not washed the truck since purchase. It’s also rained for the last 6 days.

but not sure what the deal is
Only have been from home to work. And I park alone at my office

can anyone suggest some help on making it look better

I do see some looks to be wax in the door jam on that side.

I did wash the door off with the water hose and a soft sham to See if it was just a smudge but it doesn’t seem to be, but man it’s really noticeable in the sun.

not sure what to do.

thanks in Adavnce

It appears the paint repairman did a poor job of sanding/buffing that spot, and I assume it was a factory repair. That should be easy to buff and if you don’t trust yourself to do it, it could probably be done as a warranty repair at a dealer. They shouldn’t even have to break paint, which is a major win

I was going to say some rubbing compound should take out.

I'd do as David said, take it in to the dealer for them to look at and fix. Some ads and videos I've seen recently say no to let the dealer wash your new vehicles because this can cause inperfections in the paint. Who knows?

I'd try some swirl remover wax first just for S & G.

What brand would that be. Is that something Walmart or advanced auto would carry

That is a 'hologram'. Someone got excited at the plant or dealership and let the rotary polisher get out of hand. All that is needed is a finishing polish and some elbow grease with a microfiber applicator in small circles until the haze disappears or take it to a detailer. Super easy fix! I am certain there are other spots on it, but you can't see them easily due to the silver paint.

I personally would not let a dealership detail crew work on any vehicle. Most of them are not professional detailers. Maybe see if Ford would cover the fix through a detailer?
