F-150 2023 RCSB XLT HELP

Hey everyone,

Definitely new to the f150 scene so might be a noob question. Planning on on placing order just need help on this.

Will the 2023 model come with a short bed on a regular cab, so far only seeing 6.5 not 5.5 ?

I believe 6.5 is considered short bed in RC, 8 foot is long bed

only 2 options on regular cab 6.5' and 8'.

IMO the 5.5 bed sucks anyway for hauling stuff, i specifically went supercab to get a 6.5' bed with a reasonable wheelbase

I thought I remember seeing somewhere on the Ford website that the 6.5' bed was referred to as a "standard bed" with the 5.5' bed now taking the "short bed" namesake.

Those of us who have been around probably are still stuck just generically calling the 6.5 a "short bed".

At least when it comes to regular cabs. Tbough there was a Raptor a few years back that was a super-cab config w/5.5'bed that was sort of interesting.
