I was watching a few of those and one feature these trucks have that Ford should give us is the combined AC/DC bed power center.

I just don't get the price premium over a ZR2 Colorado. It would be a tough choice between the two at the same price.

Pricing everywhere is a bit crazy.
Since theres no Ranger equivalent to the ZR2 I built a Lariat and a Z71 as close as possible.
They are literally 1k apart.....the way I built them,and in Canada.
With the Chevy being more.
While I like the ZR2 it is an extra 6k compared to either of these trucks.
Most people wont use/need the ZR2 so its more of a "niche" vehicle.
None of these trucks are that useful for hauling anything with that pathetic small box.
I was going to look at a Ranger for a 2nd vehicle....keep the F150 for pulling the trailer.
But that box size.....
"If" they come out with a 6ft box/extended cab version then maybe.
As it stands Ford,GM and now Nissan dont offer a 6ft bed bed in mid sized trucks in Canada.
I think Toyota does.....but with the larger cab.....so its a long truck(the same size as 2000s half tons).
Basically as it sits in Canada....none appeal to me.

Agreed. The price difference between a ZR2 and Ranger Raptor is nuts.

These are both CDN prices on base trucks with no options added.

20K more for the Ranger over the ZR2? I just don't see it.

The Ranger Raptor has a small gas tank and this is not something that can be replaced with an aftermarket tank from someone like Titan. I am not a fan of bolting on racks for jerry cans on a vehicle. I would get at least double the range with a F-150 with the 36-gallon tank option.
