Anybody else think they are going to get arrested someday after leaving the car wash?

Nice day today (crappy automatic wash) wet tires and no one around me on the street and I just happened to be in front of the ford dealership.

Rolling along maybe 30 and opened it up and had to let up because it was fishtailing all over the place! Makes a person feel young and stupid again!

change to green and roll out and hear the sirens blurps..:oops::oops::oops:but that was long long time ago in a galaxy far far away

They never do see the humor in the situation do they...... Then there's the fleeing and eluding etc. (or so I've heard)

Screeching and squealing of tires, always a favorite. In excess of a hundred in a fifty five.

63 dollars? That was a long time ago. I remember what I described costing $1000 fine and a $1000 for the lawyer and court supervision so it was like it never happened.

I used to have a 70 mile one way commute to work and I had court supervision in three of the counties I drove through at the same time. This was back before they communicated those kinds of things to each other!

And to top it off. If anyone has caught the story of the remains found in a box in a storage unit in Maquon Il., He was (dead guy in box) the cop who arrested me for that indiscretion of traffic laws.

I had a buddy with me in the truck a few months after I first bought it last year. I decided to see how well it would launch at a traffic light. Disabled all the traction control nannies, locked rear diff, put it in Sport, etc., left foot braked until the light went green, then lifted off the brake and hammer down. Well I forgot to put it in 4H, everyone at the intersection probably thought I was nuts because I just sat there in a cloud of smoke for a second or two as the rear tires lit up :) Good times.

Meh, my truck is transportation and Home Depot hauler. I always own something that doesn't need wet tires to light them up. ;)

These trucks launch better without stalling on the stock tune.

After I wash my truck in the winter at the self wash (?) car wash, I always drive as fast as I can to blow the water off the truck before it freezes. Luckily the car wash I use has a road with 60 mph limit but I exceed that by a bunch more. Someday I might get a ticket but at least I'll have a truck with minimal water spots..

Ive noticed that too, why is that? Driveline protection built into the factory tune?
