3533 miles on clicker
just did an approx 80 miles at 75 and approx 15 at 60, with 3 at 20 mph, and one passing lane on toll 49 at 98 to 99 for almost entire passing lane getting around the 65 slow rollers
she is smooth at 95 for certain
still only displaying 18 mpg
my 13 and my 16 got 19.1 at those speeds
starting to get irritated
this was with normal and 4 A for 1/2 trip
These motors are tuned more aggressive from Ford. Your not going to get the mileage of the 1st gen motors or maybe even the 2nd gen I would consider these to be 2.5 gen because they made changes from the 17-20 MY. I gave up and stop wasting my time trying to get mileage out of them. Your just going to be disappointed.

Last fuel up hand calculated at 22.5 - mostly 60mph mountain driving. Since getting snow tires put in to replace Duratrac AT tires averaging 21 or so over 2k miles. Averaged around 18-19 the last few winters with those tires so kind of absurd that a snow tire does that much better given also a pretty soft heavy tire. Tried to do AT as 4 season but really not worth the trade offs - poor in snow poor on highway loud and poor gas mileage. The only thing I’ve found them to be decent for is off road and for the 40 miles a year I put on them I think I could probably manage with a decent all season so think I’ll be switching to some Michelin Defenders or similar in the spring since I’ve found I need to run real snow tires in the winter anyway (house in an area that averages 200+ inches a year with steep driveway)

I tend to agree here, also you don't buy a full sized truck to get good mileage. You buy it to use it as a truck, if you don't need that functionality and care more about mpg's, then maybe a truck isn't for you.

When I bought my MY13 5.0 I went into it knowing I would not be getting the mpg's I used to get in my Acura RSX, but I didn't care, I'm a tall guy, I wanted the room, the 4x4 capabilities and a box, so I knew the tradeoff.

My MY22 eco boost is averaging 14.5mpg after 1600 miles, but to be fair I live in a cold climate and using auto start and letting your vehicle run for a good ten minutes is the norm, plus it's nothing but short drives in town. The most I ever need to be on a highway is for 1 to 3 miles at a time.

I expect my first road trip will get much better mileage, when I drove it home 200 miles from the dealership I was getting 17ish, so I know better than 15mpg is out there, it just depends on how you drive.

My 22 is at 15.2 running my e-30 tune, and my 21 3.5 is around 16.5 right now your the tremor i could see settling around 15.0-15.5 once you get out of the honeymoon phase.

See my Fuelly average in my signature. It's mostly city driving and It is slowly improving, as well.

P.S. The average includes me pulling an enclosed, dual axle Uhaul trailer (the biggest one they rent) from DFW to South Central, KY loaded with furniture and stuff. That was a big hit to my average.

3.5EB fully described in my signature block below.

At 5088 miles after 14 fill-ups my calculated lifetime average is 17.3 MPG running 87 octane consistently. It was hanging around 16.8 through ~2000 miles and has been trending up since then.

I keep a record but do not use the display MPG for my calculation, over that same lifetime it averages about 4% higher than calculated MPG.

I typically top-up the 36 gallon tank at a bit below the half-full point. I do not use 'eco' mode, run 2H except when wet, then 4A.

I'm fortunate to live in the 'rural country', relatively little 'urban' driving, occasional towing.

No complaints, I drive like I want, love the truck, mileage is what it is, No Worries! (y)

I drive on the central coast of CA, driving 81 mostly highway miles RT during the week. In my 2021 3.5EB with just under 25k miles I had an average of 19.5 MPG (truck stated; never reset trip 2). On the way to work is slightly more uphill, way home is the opposite. I could get in the 20 MPG range on a trip down to SD easily, and sometimes even got about 700 miles on a tank (36gal). In my 2023 3.5EB, I just filled up for the 2nd time…these pictures were taken 40 minutes apart starting my trip home. Adaptive Cruise set to 68mph. To put it another way, in 38 miles of actual driving I increased my estimated range by 10miles. I know the range is constantly changing based on the computers calculated AVG mpg. I drive in sport mode for the purposes of smoothing out the transmission learning and forcing it to go through the gears sequentially. I have a soft fold RC tonneau and a roush intake (302a/3.55axle/4x4/trailer tow,sport,FX4,bed utility package)

My hand calculated mpgs run 14-15ish.. I'm a mix of city and highway driving, predominantly highway. I have a FX4 (standard gearing for that) SCrew. Rather disappointed in my mpgs, and not sure what the issue is. The current loaner SCrew 3.5 EB I'm driving is considerably better, and only has about a thousand less miles (~4k on the odometer). I tend to drive conservatively, trying to stay out of boost for the most part (unless needed). I am not a spirited driver. 87 octane in Missouri. Factory tune.

After installing the fox coilover level kit, wheels and tires I’m at roughly 16.0 mpg after 500 miles. It’s also fairly windy where I live, and there are hills both ways commuting to work. Drive less than 70mph on cruise for it too

Are you saying you dropped almost 4mpg? What tires and size?

In reality (using fuelly) pre-lift/tires I was at 18.8. Post-lift/tires I’m at 16.0. However, yes I would say based on the trucks displayed avg it’s just under 4. I installed the lift/tires at 1,870 miles so not fully broken in.

To answer your other question they are Falken Wildpeak A/T3W LT295/70R18. Load range E 😅

Looks like those are 68 lbs. I can see where some of that mpg went. :)

My MY22 Tremor was getting 15.8 MPG, but after I updated with FDRS I'm getting a solid 17 MPG for the past week. I also did a 1200k oil change to Amsoil and the differential cover change to Amsoil severe gear the week before, but saw no change in that week.

As I’m washing my truck, I noticed this:

no I didn’t hear anything hit them, I haven’t even gone near them except for now obviously (OCD on water spots). I’m guessing this is why my MPG could be tanking
