2024 F-150 Platinum: Are the multi contour massage seats coming back?

I see that it's available and part of the standard equipment but does anyone know if they're going to be removed again? This is really annoying.

Says they are coming back. When the MY23 Build and Price came up, it had them on the configurator but said delete. So, I assume that they have stockpiled enough chips to at least start them out with the active motion seats. I suspect that Job 1 trucks will get the massage seats, but not the multifunction tailgate. Job 2 will get the tailgate and they will probably run out of chips for the seats.

I know that I sound like a sissy, but I'm unwilling to step up above Lariat if I can't get the seats that are signature to the higher trim.

to me that means the KR is absent of the massage function.
for me the massage function IS the reason to have multi contour seats

My April (early Job2) 2022 build was just a couple weeks before the "constraints" hit the KingRanch.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate now to have Multicontour massaging cooled lay-flat seats in a 157" no chrome TRUCK-mirrored KingRanch.

And on top of all that, no exhaust heat exchanger leak, no broken axle bolts, no........

Why would I even consider parting with it?

i just would have been happier if mine was the NON chrome edition
inside its sweet and comfy
i despise the wheels it came with. the chrome bumper is ok because we get lots of flying rocks from our wonderful roads up here in north east Texas
i liked my 2013 wagon wheels, along with the bed rail caps that matched the lower accent paint

Yea, I like the non chrome KingRanch wheels better. I wonder why Ford doesn't think the classic KingRanch wheels don't work with a KingRanch regardless of chrome/placard/2-tone or not?

somebody thinks so...AS IN a whole lot of people, because the non chrome ones ae very hard to find as take offs
my 16 exp had nice non chrome

You are totally right! I am glad I haven't finalized my order yet. I assumed the multi-counter meant with massage - it doesn't. Well, that makes me think twice about the 24 order.

While I could live without the massage, it is not something I would pass on if it is available.
It's one of those things that occasionally I benefit from. And when I do, at that moment, it's worth every penny it co$t me.

Usually at some point during a long leg of a journey and it is medicinal.

If this truck didn’t have massage and Bluecruise, I would’ve stepped up to a raptor.

that said, I still don’t understand why I couldn’t get the KR tailgate appliqué on this truck as a stand alone option.

maybe I’ll order the ‘24 barndoor tailgate in king ranch with the appliqué

Looking through the 2023 Order Guide vs the 2024 one, the Platinum used to say the Active Motion was being removed but now it's completely missing from the KR and the Plat no longer says it requires removal.

My wife's got the Lincoln Corsair and the massage seats are great for long trips. I can't not have that on my Platinum and let her one-up me like that. LOL

Here's to hoping that it stays when ordered.

Yeah, they want to keep it quiet they're only offering a decal kit

The used 2022 model I bought has it. I wouldn't say you're missing anything...then again, its is absurd to pay that much and have something missing.
