2023 F150 Orders

I couldn’t find any threads for it, so let’s start the thread on July 2022 orders for the 2023 F150.

I ordered 8 days after the bank opened, I’m sure a lot of you got in front of me in line. A side note, the Area 51 Blue isn’t selectable in the order banks yet. As production gets closer, the order bank will be ironed out and the exterior color will be updated.

The rumor I’m hearing is production starting around Sept 12th?

Area 51 Blue, Powerboost 4x4, 502A, Active 2.0, 7.2kw, Moonroof, Tow Package, B&O Unleashed, Sport Appearance w/ 20” Dark Alloy, & 360° Package

Per Ford, the scheduling and production timetable has been released for the 2022/2023MY F-150.

• 12/14/2021 - 2022MY Fleet Final Order Due Date
• 07/28/2022 - 2022MY Last Day to Spec Change (DTP)
• 07/28/2022 - 2022MY Last Day to Spec Change (KC)
• 10/09/2022 - 2022MY Balance Out Date (DTP)
• 10/30/2022 - 2022MY Balance Out Date (KC)

• 07/18/2022 - 2023MY Order Bank Open Date (DTP)
• 07/18/2022 - 2023MY Order Bank Open Date (KC)
• 08/18/2022 - 2023MY Scheduling Begins (DTP)
• 09/15/2022 - 2023MY Scheduling Begins (KC)
• 10/10/2022 - 2023MY Job #1 Date (DTP)
• 10/31/2022 - 2023MY Job #1 Date (KC)

The 2023 F-150 Order Guide will be released on or about the date that the 2023 Order Bank opens and available for download in the Dealer Order Guides section at that time.

Depending on plant, it’s looking like mid to late October.

I started getting builds/pricing for ‘23s last week on the 18th. I finally got my VIN on the 21st for build week 8/15. Crossing my fingers for you man.

Mine? No, I wish LOL. I ordered a ‘22 on 4/13/22 and was getting pricing for ‘23s in case I didn’t receive a VIN. It was 99 days from order and confirmation to VIN. Some on here waited much, much longer.

Well, the sun is shining on me today. I checked my email right after I posted and got a build week of Sep 19th. I know that can slip, but I also got a VIN number. I know I can only be pushed back three more weeks since I'm a Dearborn build.

I know, I should’ve been more clear that while I was pricing out 23s, my VIN for my ‘22 came in.
