F150 Orders Placed in Feb 2022

Finally picked my Feb 14th 2022 Platinum BAP order this weekend from Koons.

That’s a gorgeous truck. If you don’t mind me asking, what was the sticker price?

I’m back to to exact same starting place from 2/1/22 on Platinum PB 701A order after TWO FAILURES of FORD and their bone head IT Dept.

One would think Ford could get it straight SECOND TIME. Nope…it not happening. Ford keeps building these F-150‘s by their order software that is changing the order content. In goes apples and out come oranges. I can’t understand how Ford can continue to function with these orders content foul ups. Yet Ford continues on build these trucks that are not wanted and will not stop the build to fix the order. It defies common sense and is a waste of time, materials, and resources. WAKE UP FORD and FIRE SOME OF THESE INCREDIBLY INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES!!!

What now one would ask? I had to start a totally new THIRD ORDER from scratch to rectified the situation. Yes, it identical order from my 2/1/22 order except with all the items Ford has taken away since then. Yes, the pricing is being honor but not the interest rate but I have no choice but get back to end of the line and wait. Just hope that SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY I’LL HAVE IT BY APRIL/MAY 2023 timeframe.

I had to order a MY23 after Ford canceled my MY22 order September 30th. Seemed to move way faster with the MY23. Hopefully you will see the same.

Ford has second one (2023) in delay production schedule of 11/21. When I got the VIN one week later after the first correction of original order, it still was totally wrong and cannot be fixed. Therefore causing a “start from scratch“ order.

So I have two incorrect orders now with one (2022) in shipment, a second one (2023) still wait to be finished manufacture, and now a third one (2023) waiting for scheduling. Seems like a major waste to me but will the third time be the charm?

Unfortunately it is literally only a waste for you, which is why Ford and your dealer do not care.

Ford and your dealer will still sell both trucks and profit from both, meanwhile you are stuck.

The 2/14/22 Ordered MSRP was $74,845. 10/5/22 Blend Date Sticker was $78,550. 2023 current MSRP is $81,455.

Just to close the loop, I ordered a 22 Platinum BAP on 2/1/22. Blend date was 9/15, came off chip hold at the end of November and just showed up this past week at the dealer. Several deletes by Ford. Took 10 months to get the truck I didn't order.....

I'm happy with the KR I bought in May.

That's quite hefty in taxes. ....almost $10k? Prices of these trucks is insane.....

What isn’t on the window sticker is the glass treatment and security etching I was forced to take, I also swapped out the soft tonnue cover for the hard one. Before tax it came to $81,750 with registration. NY has a 6.25% sales tax.

I ordered my KR in Feb and had the same blend date as your Platinum. Still shows in production. I'm sure it will be worth the wait, just wish it would be over and the truck get here.

With Ford changing the way of electronic chips & devices being made instead of the generic ones now, I wonder in 10 years if electronic parts for failed modules will still be available as spare parts?
