2022 F150 3.5L - leaking coolant

I have a new ‘22 f150 lariat with the 3.5, and noticed coolant on the driveway yesterday… appears to be dropping down through the skid plate, on the right side under the motor. Truck has 3000 miles… any recalls or people seeing these issues at all on the new trucks?

My buddy was talking about recently had a passenger side turbo coolant line leak. I believe it is a known issue in the previous Gen (not sure about 21 onward)

The only 3.5 leak issue I recall are the heat exchanger leak issues with the 3.5 PowerBoosts, but that’s a hybrid specific part a regular 3.5 wouldn’t have.

my 5.0 V8 is flawless so far

same here mine doesn’t burn a drop of oil yet either (that’s the only issue I’ve heard of other people having so far)

Did you get it diagnosed ? I am having same issue on 2022 PB Lariat. Mine is sitting at dealership and waiting to be diagnosed.

Ended up being the thermostat housing which has a service bulletin for ‘21 and ‘22 F150s

My 22 Powerboost had a leak on the t-stat housing at a few thousand miles. It typically dripped out of the skid plate.

New member here. Bought my 2022 truck new and I’m currently at just over 23k miles. While inspecting under the hood I noticed mine has also discolored and is losing coolant somewhere. Never a smell while driving or drop on the driveway. Nice forum BTW and glad to have found it!

I haven’t had it in the shop for the leak. I’m going to drop it off tomorrow for an oil change and tire rotation, so I intended to inform the service writer about the coolant loss at that time.
