Regarding the Ford F-150 POWERBOOST engine ... are there any warnings or concerns about using a VIAIR Portable Compressor Kit that attaches directly to the truck battery with alligator clamps? I've not found anything yet in Ford literature and want to be sure there are no risks to the PowerBoost system before making a VIAIR purchase or attempting to jump start another vehicle.

I suspect the PowerBoost system is well-isolated from the truck battery, but just want to be sure.

New to the Forums ... thanks for the help! Nice to meet everyone.

You should be fine. I use VIAIR-450P connected to my RV engine battery (vs. generator/house battery) to inflate 100-125PSI truck tires as well as blow out my water lines during my winter storage prep. I just make sure to run my engine so my batteries can be topped off.
