I’ve pulled well over 400 watts from it, vacuum cleaners will often trip arc fault breakers.Even in generator mode it still only delivers 400 watts. Assuming since it tripped with vacuum cleaner with generator mode on.

Thanks. I'll have to put my KillaWatt on it and test just out of curiosity. As I said, when I ran extension from bed outlet, there was no problem.
You only require generator mode if plug In more than 400 watts or so. Simple phone charges etc. will run off the truck battery . Plug in a coffee pot , generator mode is called for. The truck will let you know if the generator is required.This is good information. I thought it was always 20A, good to know that I have to put it in generator mode.
